Dropping already?
« on: January 14, 2022, 07:18:02 PM »
Saw a big truck hauling a big toy hauler. In the bed was a lot of elk antler, a lot. Have they already started dropping? I’ve never been into shed hunting so I don’t have the slightest idea, just seemed odd for middle of January.

Uhhhh...NO. More than likely an antler buyer.

Nah, you’ll see them pass through here often. It’s a dealer, probably buying from the Rez

Saw a large herd this past weekend and they still had their antlers. Too early. Let them winter. The cows will be birthing calves in two months and need their strength to fight off predators.
