I'm in for elk (15%), mule deer (11%) and late season muzzy whitetail doe (84%).  Much better odds than WA!!!  (I'll still probably whiff on all three  :chuckle:)

The window seems to be closing quickly for today being the day :'(

A couple years ago they posted at like 4pm on a Friday

Yes, it was 2020, my then 12 year old pulled his first bull tag.  Hoping one of the boys can get that same tag again this year.

I think it was in 2015 or 2016 too because I had just gotten to Tamarack for the NWMC after driving all day and was surprised that they were out and I had drawn a deer tag.

One of the years they posted 6/19.  Not planning on anything just hoping, but think we could find out today.

Oh man.  I guess I assumed the extra doe tag would be at reduced cost, but now I think I assumed wrong.  Does that mean I'll have to pay full price ($352) for an extra doe tag?  That's like $9/lb + gas assuming 40 lbs of meat.  Not exactly what I was hoping for... I'll probably just pay it this time around but this might be a one time thing, ha ha!  Whoops.  I've got general elk and deer tags already so at least the hunting license is paid for.

Yea no price reduction on the extra doe tags. If you draw you can always wait til August 1st to decide whether you want to buy the tag or not. I personally think I’d let an extra doe tag go at NR cost

I’m thinking it’s actually a short range weapons hunt so he wouldn’t have to buy the muzzy permit

:dunno: he said muzzy permit so I took it on face value. If so he would have to purchase the muzzleloader permit for $81.75  :dunno:

Depends on when you are going to hunt but ya there are a few. After dec 1 is archery or muzzle only. Either require a 80 dollar permit
