To answer your main question.  175gr at that velocity will get the job done just fine.  Been using 160gr Nosler partitions and Accubonds for years now.  Most animals don't go far with proper shot placement.    I am just now getting into reloading myself due to the current commercial ammo situation, so I am paying attention to his one.

It's a pain in the butt.
But always work your way up with your loads.
From reloading data .....not the internet.

With that said.....
I've noticed with 7mm mag most reloading data seems like it can be pushed past max in my rifle.
But you'll have to work up to find what your rifle likes.

Good advise right there. Thanks for safety reminder. Short cuts in reloading can get you or someone else seriously hurt.
