Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

I’m just catching up here, but why no talk about the other two tags that come with the North Central raffle? He could shoot 3 of 5 from a list of Sheep, Mule Deer, Whitetail, Cougar and Bear.

Did anyone else find it odd that his 2 posts spoke only of mule deer?  If I drew that tag, a mule deer would not be my main focus.

Never even chambered a round.  No shortage of fresh mountain lion sign.  Especially disappointing given the favorable weather.

For any of the 3 animals or for a mule deer?

Well hopefully you had a great time on your hunts at least.

Would love to hear how the sheep portion of your raffle experience went. Hard to fathom not chambering a round on a sheep.

That’s all you’re gonna say? Didn’t chamber a round? No stories on any of the 3
Animals you were able to hunt?

Well...it is titled: "Working man raffle tag winner"...so, maybe he was working the whole time? or maybe he couldn't afford all the hunts, and as much as we all want a sheep tag, what if you couldn't afford to have a mount done so it would only add to the angst of what to do if you killed one...as much as we all want to know more, obviously the poster doesn't want to share and that is his right.

On to bigger and better things! Anyone else excited for 2023 yet? I already got hunts planned for WA & ID, and putting in for MT...
