Wolf?
« on: November 19, 2022, 11:43:37 AM »
This picture was taken last year in Spokane county (5 mile) which is an extremely populated area.. (info coming from my daughter and 5 mile crime check)
another sighting reported today. I use to live up there, pretty crazy if wolves are really up there. Looks like a mangy wolf to me..
Thoughts?

Would not be uncommon but that looks like a coyote soon to be out of the gene pool, mange is a tough way to go, thanks for the post

Rose prairie, Dragoon creek, west of 395?  Saw pics of one from the 13th in that area.
Seems the area is crawling with them.

They're coming in closer as there's no more feed for them up further North

Please be aware, with decreased prey base their range has gone off the charts.  Be careful out there

Interesting. My son called me on the 18th and said he was 95% sure he had just seen one behind the vet clinic by the first round about in Deer Park.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
