Son's 2022 moose hunt / Euro finished
« on: December 17, 2022, 05:24:43 PM »
Two for Two with this one being a little bigger than last years.  Hoping to find a bigger one for him in the years to come.  This was a Canada hunt.  He also managed to kill a trophy black bear on this hunt.  We estimate it to be 400+ lbs....wouldn't surprise us if it went over 450.  Took three men doing the....heave/hoe....moving it three feet at a time, to get it back to the rig.  I'm 6' 270lbs.

Also want to give a shout out to Nock Nock (a member on HW) for making this beautiful plaque to mount the euro on.  It is an old piece of Cedar he had in his shop that has a ton of character.  The finish is great and it turned out amazing.  Thanks!!

You calling me fat??   :chuckle: :chuckle:    Joking of course......

Thanks everyone for the kind words...and yes, he is a lucky kid to have such an awesome dad.   8) 8)  He is also a very good kid that deserves everything he gets.  he is a hard worker and bust his hind end when out in the field hunting.  I can't wait till he is packing out my deer, elk, moose and bear.   :chuckle:

Both of thems a fine looking specimen. Especially love the moose mount…beautiful wood plaque that fits the outline of the moose👍 At this time in his life…such a great adventure
