Huge Kansas dead head?

Still haven't heard anything else about it. You would think it would be getting more attention. Probably not even a true story of finding it in the lake.

Why poach a high fence deer if you're not planning to keep the antlers?

I'm choosing to believe it's on the up and up until shown otherwise. Cool deer, even cooler find. I swear Ive found the coolest stuff on the ground wandering ricer banks and stream beds.

Because they realized how stupid it was to think you could get away with it so you ditch it. The smart thing to do would be get rid of the evidence.  Do you recall the story of a buck just like this in recent years that was poached and the dummy showed it off?

I recall a somewhat similar story of a huge bull elk.

It ended up being high fence;   they ended up posting pics of it eating Purina elk chow out of a trough and clearly showing the ear tag. 

Point being, any monster high fence buck would have plenty of pics.

I have no idea if this is high fence.  But it is a whopper.

If you owned a high fence ranch, wouldn’t you know if this buck was on your land?…I would!

Prob why it's in the creek, maybe it was poached and the azz hats realized they could never hide it? 

My point was, wouldn’t the land owner be speaking up, once they saw the pic, that this buck was on his ranch and someone poached it?

Yeah I can't find this deer anywhere. My brother pulled it off of Facebook. Who knows what the real story is but it's awfully similar to the one that guy poached on the high fence  ranch.

Man those are already white. Like the deer never lost an antler.
Almost like that deer had been growing those it's whole life.

This place never disappoints  why can’t it just be that someone found it? There are more legal reasons a deer can die and end up in a river than there are illegal ones. The majority here are talking about how it was poached without any evidence. Until I see some I’m going to think that it either died of old age or a hunter didn’t find it after hitting it bad with a bow. White antlers are not an indicator of a high fence animal. And a soak in a river and sun can turn them white faster than a high fence can anywhere.

This type of antler is common throughout Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Missouri.

The theory that it was poached and the thrown in the water is absurd! Now if you found a body with no head then I might be inclined to believe you but one that were to poach that set of horns ain’t leaving them behind smh
