beauty of a bear! Are they starting to rub out in your areas yet Dale?
It is foolish and wrong to mourn these men.  Rather, we should thank god that such men lived.  -General George S. Patton

We are hunting pretty high, we still had snow a couple weeks ago, we don’t usually see any rubbing until the end of June and then a lot of them are still ok.

Jeff from Iowa wasn’t waiting either, he drilled this 6’-4” color phase with guide Grant on the first morning of his hunt this morning. That’s two over 6 foot the first morning of this hunt. Fantastic bears guys! One more hunter to fill out and the guys are done hunting this week. Maybe they can catch that white truck sneaking into our bait or someone else’s bait, we are watching for that truck, we will find it somewhere, sometime, it’s just a matter of time! I'm referring to the truck in this topic: https://hunting-washington.com/smf/index.php/topic,279338.0.html

We still have hunts available for 2024 for anyone wondering.

@Karl Blanchard
I should mention, there are some units open until the end of the month of July and there are still some unrubbed bear up high into July.

Thanks guys, we think some bear died in hibernation, but the guides have busted their tails with preparation and hunting some new areas and it has made up the difference, it has been very good hunting.
