ISO Stihl 042/048 chainsaw.

I know it’s a long shot but I’d figured I’d try to see if a fellow huntwa member has a 042/048 that isn’t in use any more. Trying to complete my collection of older saws.

I’m also looking for a parts saw 038 that has a full wrap handle. Let me know what you have and if you have anything else related old saws/axes.

Best of luck on that search, I was the mechanic at a pretty big stihl dealer that would have a lot of obsolete stuff come in from 2009 - 2012 and I only remember one 042 coming into the shop, and no 048s. Lots of 041, 056, 075 and even 090 saws came through but those two nobody seemed to have. Heard it was the forest service that mostly bought the 048s when they were making them.
