The wife and I put in for easier to draw tags locally. We draw something about every year. Never could understand putting in for the really high end deer and elk tags in this state. Although we put in for Moose because we really want to kill a moose some day.

We understand we won’t draw a quality deer tag every year but at least we know we won’t be on a forum complaining about not drawing a tag in 20 years 😂

Because when you live in the unit and see the animals all the time, you want a tag to hunt them....  (22 years and counting...) :(
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I’m still in the positive vibes phase of the draws thinking I’ll draw a moose tag.

I  met a young lady 2 years ago drew moose with 3 points it’s possible for anyone DAY DREAM AWAY !!!!!! Don’t be Debbie downers

I teach high school and you would not believe the ratio of students to adults that draw quality and OIL tags.  I have heard a theory on this that may or not be correct, but anecdotally, I know that the percentage of kids that get hard to draw tags is higher than adults.  And I'm not talking about youth tags, I mean Quality Deer, Quality Elk, OIL....
I know of a couple hunters that drew the incentive tag after only hunting this state for a year! :twocents:
Speaking of incentive tags have they been drawn yet? Anyone receive the call

I really hope that dad draws a tag this year. He is very passionate about wildlife and hunting, but father time is creeping up a bit and starting to slow him down a bit. It would be special if he gets to be a tag holder this year.

As one who Father Time has snuck up on I sincerely wish that your dad draws his special tag (s) this year.
