So few permits is taking its toll 

I would say so many categories is taking its toll.

The ability to apply for too many categories is the problem if you ask me.

Well, yeah!

That combined with lower numbers adds up to really bad odds for draws that used to be somewhat reasonable.

Would love to see 1 app per species, 4 choices. Old days I would do a quality 1 and 2 then anterless/buck/bull type 3 and 4.

There is an open comment period up for suggestions for next hunting cycle regs. Make that comment known or any suggestions for draws.

It would be nice if they added some more hunts for the categories. Bull elk has 2 choices for archery. Pretty ridiculous.

This is the attitude more should have.      My hunting buddy and I are super excited to set up the wall tent for 12-14 days and hunt elk with my son.  He is the one that drew the youth tag and it will be his first elk (assuming we find one) and we are just super happy to spend that time in the woods (and wall tent) on a fun hunt.  Trophy is all in the eye of the beholder....and I'm sure my son will be on cloud nine if he is afforded the opportunity to drop the hammer a big fat cow. 

You guys sound like you will have a great hunt.  Good friends spending time in the woods is priceless.

I heard the draw was happening and was going to check results when I got home but in the mean time Wa dept of fudge wads sent me 2….. 2 emails telling me I was unsuccessful in all the draws. Thanks

Bethel archery bull tag and a late archery cow tag for me, Ritzville rifle tag for the wife, and a Beezley youth any deer tag for my son. Slightly disappointed that my 20 quality deer points got me nothing but super pumped with what we did get!

I didn’t get drawn for anything in Washington but, I did get a Montana antlerless B tag. Maybe I’ll get a anterless Antelope too.

I was not selected in 10 draws….. I put my dad in for 14 draws, not selected in all of those too. WDFW blows!
