Area 11 early opener
« on: June 02, 2023, 04:20:39 PM »
Never thought I’d have a day like today in area 11 salmon fishing, epic!  3 guys with 3 limits of kings and silvers! Had our kings by 8:30, silvers by 10:30, let many fish go that were too small or were native. Couple really nice natives hurt to let go!  Gonna rest up and do it again tomorrow!  Anyone else have any luck?

Thanks, it’s all because of my cousin, the guy is a fishing genius!  All trolling, I mistakenly bounced off the bottom when I caught that ling.

Its gonna be a zoo! But fortunately my cousin has year round moorage at desmoines marina, just a short boat ride.  Tomorrow will be interesting! But not a chance we could duplicate today.

Ought to be closed by Monday at this rate. Great deal that it was so good, but so bad at the same time.
