Looks like 2 more spots on the newbie team.  If anyone is new to predator calling and dont want to drag down another team but still want to play.  Of course if you are really good we could always use a ringer.

Gut needs all the points he can get. Besides that bear WAS smaller than a yote.  :P

Here is a scientific poll for you.  Question:  Do you want out of state animals to count?

I will let this run for a few days then make a decision.

Teams updated and free agent pool updated.  Let me know if I missed you.

presumably if wolves and badgers and other stuff that we can't shoot in WA count then yotes should count too.
one of the original rules was that out of state animals don't count, but then it says that wolves count for X number of points and badgers count for X number of points.
maybe an out of state coyote should count for a 1/2 point or something.

I was just thinking, since this is a forum called hunting-washington.com, why don't we only count animals hunted in Washington?  It seems to make sense to me, but I could be wrong.

Out of state coyotes will be worth .5 points.  Bears won't count.  I included cougars because the rifle opener coincided with our contest start.  Wolves and badgers are on there because it is kind of cool.

No hand gestures needed.  This is a "fun" contest.  No money or big prizes involved, so I would hope our members keep it on the up and up.  Don't drag frozen coyotes around to different locations and take pictures.  For the heaviest and smallest coyote, you will need to show a picture of the scale.  For the most animals taken in a 12 hour period, you will need to take a group shot.  For the most animals award I will be counting all animals, regardless of type as 1 (ie, 4 bobcats, 3 coyotes = 7).  This is not the calculation for your point total, just that part of the contest that applies to animals.
