Does this count as 2023 or 2024? My 10 year old daughter passed hunters safety 2 weeks ago and I found an opportunity for her to take a doe on a damage deer tag. Bought her license and tag and she got her first deer this morning at 130 yards with her 6.5 PRC with one perfect shot! Thanks to a forum member for making this happen, he knows who he is!

Awesome job dad.  My favorite part about hunting now is getting my kids on critters.  The satisfaction it brings be trumps harvesting an animal myself.  Don't get me wrong, I still like to get them myself.

Nice buck, 8-9 he would have been something to see.👍

Sadly we lost most of the meat. He had a pretty bad infection from a laceration to the chest inclusive of a ball of puss the size of a baseball. He was severely underweight and his front quarters where mostly bone with very little meat on them at all. It's sad to see how brutal nature can be sometimes, but I'm taking the mental route of "well I hopefully saved him from an agonizing winter and possible slow death"
