Gas prices have been dropping so expanded my scouting range a bit for new spots. Nothing found but don’t have a duck boat either and might have a marshy spot lined up but no birds on it or flying by either.

Went on a little scout yesterday and looked like the snows were here in a place I have never seen them before. Put the binoculars on them and the were seagulls 🤬

What kind of dog you got there?  Looks like it loves water and to retrieve.

Haven't got out for waterfowl specifically yet but jump shot this teal last weekend while phesant hunting around potholes.

Funny you ask. That sir is Wiredfire's Panzerfaust Jones, the ultra purpose Deutsche wirehair pointer! Does it all. Even ran down a coyote and killed it. Trees anything and 'nets' steelhead for me. My best buddy. Thanksgiving will be in Asotin chasin chukar

Happy holidays, I remember this as my biggest weekend of waterfowl hunting back in the day. Only old memories now with no new hunting memories in sight NOT because of the lack of time unfortunately.

I stepped out for an hour before the sun went down last night. A dozen pintails hovering at 20 yards meant I could only take 1 shot.

They sure are pretty birds.
What country can preserve it's liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon & pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants.

That experience is worth it! Beautiful bird.

Got a call from a buddy who was able to get some ag field access that held some good birds. Of course the day we get in there the birds decide that some of the other fields look a little better but we were still able to coax some our direction. Overall a fun day with the boys
