Blue grouse crop contents
« on: November 17, 2023, 06:00:48 PM »
This Blue was taken September 28th at 6000’. All the Blues taken on this ridge were full of hoppers also. It got cold, the hoppers disappeared, and so did the grouse. I estimate a minimum of 150 hoppers and 2 mountain ash berries in this crop.

Boy was I confused. I forgot what a crop was for a second! I was thinking this was some sort of blue grouse food plot thread...  :chuckle: :dunno:

If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

Found myself really missing my old 110 this year, it’s heavy and no gut hook but it sure is a great knife.
