Anyone done it or chose not to do it?

I was going to look into it more until I realized the cost of it.

Along with my cataract surgery I had IOL's Intraocular Lenses installed. After needing glasses most of my adult life I now only need cheaters when reading.

I have been seriously looking into it.  I am a +6 in both eyes with a stigmatism in my right eye.  The cost is high at $9,500, but the thought of waking up and not having to deal with contacts or glasses again, sounds well worth it.  Kind of like buying that expensive hunting rifle.  I did hear that you can have a little bit more difficulty seeing while driving at night.  More halo's or shine off of lights.  I am thinking of setting up a consultation to go over it.

I had the RLE done on 9/27. Procedure was 6 min per eye. Replacement lenses are based on your "best" options based on your current eye conditions. I chose the Light Adjustable Lenses for myself. Your lenses are adjustable with UV light to dial in your vision to where you desire it.  Adjustment period is after 17 days from surgery until up to 3 months. When the adjustments are complete, they use UV light to "Lock in" the current vision.
I am very happy with the results and would definitely recommend a consultation at the least.

Can't speak to RLE, but I did do PRK and that was worth it. 20:15 now and no more astigmatism in either eye.
