One thing that stood out was a statement about how separated as outdoorsman we are. Hunting, fishing, trapping and the different groups inside all of those groups from archery to rifle, fly fishing to bait fishing. We are all branches on the same tree and the anti's aren't just attacking each branch they are trying to chop down the whole tree.

I think these 2 groups are on the verge of greatness. Dan from CRWM is amazing. I hope he can continue to branch out beyond Colorado.

Had a chance to listen to this podcast. Charles from howl and Dan Gates from CRWM make a lot of great points, definitely worth a listen if you can find the time. These guys keep on grinding and getting more exposure to what the extremists are doing and getting more and more money and big names involved in the fight. It’s hard not to be optimistic after listening to what there efforts have accomplished. Stay involved and give what you can to fight the bull crap the extremists are trying to push through.

I truly hope hunters get more involved with this, if not we will likely talk about how great it was when we could hunt each year, or even at all

One thing that really jumped out at me was the parallels between Colorado and Washington.

In the 90's we lost hound hunting, and IIRC CO lost trapping.  Both states had groups formed to combat this (Hunter Heritage Council for WA) that until recently have had great success killing anti hunting legislation.

Time to step up, what worked in the 2k's isn't enough anymore.

They are 10years behind washington. Since their director came from washington and wrote the conservation policy that seems to have been defeated by the tribes.
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

Or so we hoped...

Next week the Commission is bringing back their conservation policy.

Nothing is going to come of it besides an update of where things stand at the moment. Those tribes that stepped up do not like the direction of the commission and it was very much apparent at the meeting they testified at.
