I drew deer, but no elk. With only 5 points for elk I guess I've got a long wait ahead of me  :camp:

I keep seeing this. It's simply not true. You could draw next year or wait ten and still not draw.  Nothing is predictable in washington draws. The only sure thing is you have no chance in points options, and more chances than someone with less points than you.

Website is returning a fetch error when trying to log in  :bash:

:yeah:  I've tried dozens of times using 5 different browsers and keep getting the same error.

Finally was able to log in… and was surprised to see that I had finally drawn elk with 13 points, but no luck on deer. My wife also drew elk with 6 points. Wish we wouldn’t have both drawn in the same year, but oh well.
You could turn hers in and get her points back, then, jump on her points next year so your not stuck with 1.
You get your multi season points back if you turn it back in?

drew deer with 1 point (had it the last 2 years) and elk with 4 points.

definitely not coughing up the dough for both. So my deer tag will go back into the pool.

Not if you apply for SP's.

So if you return it before you apply for special permits you get your points back?

Ive drawn MS deer every other year without fail.  Never drew MS elk.

I drew nothing this year, back to 1 point for deer and 11 points for elk
What country can preserve it's liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon & pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants.

Last year there was 21,800+ multi elk apps, for 1,000 tags.  I wonder if raising the tags to 5k would have much of an impact on Eastside/westside permit hunt odds?
