Idaho moose, sheep, mountain goat
« on: April 18, 2024, 12:57:28 PM »
Who’s putting in this month? I just put in for my moose tag. Let the state make interest on my money for couple months before they give it back most likely 😂

When would you guess results by this year? Sometime mid May?

If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

I don’t have price lock so the total for me was $227 and change doing it online. I’ll get back all but like $16.50 of it sometime in July if I’m not drawn I believe.

Not too shabby, don't worry I remember not being able afford the lifetime license when that was available... makes me Wana puke  :chuckle:

Oh well, i don't mind floating the boat as I sure as heck can't live there...it would be nice if I could use these charitable draw schemes as a tax write off tho

The processing fee is the 3% that it costs idfg to accept payment via card.

I’ve never added up all the fees for the states I apply for each year, I think I would cry.

And I can’t even imagine how pissed my wife would be if she kept an eye on it

I spent about $600 today on two of my girls and myself just staying in Idaho as a resident and I haven’t even been able to apply for their special deer and elk permits for them yet (5/1-5/31).

I’ve been staring at Goats almost everyday this month, but haven’t made a decision yet  :chuckle:. Pronghorn tag or goat tag? Hmmm. Freezers are still well packed with moose, deer, and lion so really don’t need another deer or elk this year.  :chuckle:
