13th year in a row of getting skunked in every category...  you'd think I'd have drawn cow elk or something by now!  Maybe they should make every category an OIL

Well too say our family was beyond freaking blessed this year is an understatement
Me , wife, brother , uncle drew cow tags
Father uncle drew 2 different tags
Father-in-law archery quality toutle elk tag
Family hunting partner disabled Mudflow elk

And I woke up yesterday morning to walla walla elk tag in Oregon and a buck tag for Oregon

Since I have idaho tags  gonna be a fruitful and busy year

Muzzy Douglas cow elk tag, and then..............Holy Crap............going to have to hit the gym with a vengeance because I will be 63 by the end latter part of the season.............got drawn with 28 points for the one tag.........
Goat Rocks East.  I'm going goat hunting!  First OIL and it is probably the hardest physically, glad I got it early in life:)

Nice! Congrats, and good luck getting after it.
What country can preserve it's liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon & pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants.

youth tags are a joke well at least the elk tags are. My oldest drew a handful of youth deer tags before he aged out. He drew a youth muzzy elk tag his first year hunting at age 8. Nothing after that. My youngest has also draw a hand full of deer tags. He has seven points. Both my boys have been getting oil points since the first year they were born. There’s no Rhyme to reason just like the regular draw. Points don’t matter. I honestly wish they would go to a no point system. If it’s truly a weighted system like in other states I wouldn’t mind it. But it’s not. Do away with it!
Happiness is being in the woods!!!

Ya I’m used to drawing nothing, I just really wanted them to draw something good.
They will have companion tags with me in Idaho so it’s better than anything here anyway.
