Knight Muzzleloaders price increase
« on: May 26, 2024, 06:37:14 AM »
I see that Knight just had a huge price increase on their muzzleloaders.  Their Ultra Lites which had been around 950.00 jumped to 1635.00 + an excise tax charge of 180.00.  Looks like the Disc Extreme .52 they've been blowing out on a sale price are all gone.  I've never saw a firearm company charge an extra excise tax.

In recent times the knight muzzleloader has gotten some recognition for being a quality muzzleloader, in comparison to the popular problematic CVA muzzys. Not saying it caused the significant price increase, it just seems like the price increase of that amount isn’t just due to inflation.

I would have purchased a Knight Ultralite a few years ago but all I could find were horrible reviews and mountains of threads on multiple forums about peoples ultralites having issues and the lack of support from Knight?
That said, I might have choked down the 8-900 for one, but never in a thousand years would I put down 1500+.

Knight does have an outlet section on their website and they have some of the .52 Disc Extreme back in stock.  465.00.   https://www.muzzleloaders.com/product/disc-extreme-real-tree-edge/

Might be time to sell of my ML collection, seems a lot more folks are getting into these days. I can’t imagine paying that much for a ML, the knights sure are a nice gun though.

That's funny.  I'm showing them in stock....

https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1027632054?pid=857789

they had a coupon for a while that took another 20% off.  I used the coupon so it doesn't work for me anymore.  Might try MUSA0125
