Yup it's a *censored* shoot. Not your typical 3d shoot. Multiple courses, long hard shots, and one course you gain a few thousand feet and shoot 15 targets along the way. One of my favorite ones next to TAC. Bring lots of arrows.

It’s kinda a cluster, but once you are there and registered, fun shoot.  The camping situation sucks, and the traffic on your way home Sunday, is pathetic. Take Monday off if you can.  IF you get a camping spot, it’s on the gravel parking lot, so prepare. Other than that, it’s a blast.
“In common with”..... not so much!!

I will post a contrary opinion. I went last year for the first and the last time. Was less than impressed. Maybe it was the course I chose to shoot?  Was a big cluster for sure. We were at least an hour behind our scheduled shoot time before we even started. Sounded like there was a lift issue earlier in the morning that caused the back up. The course we shot had around 25 targets if I remember correctly. All but about 2 were what I would consider extremely long bow shots of 50 or 60 yards out to well over 100. With the crowded and backed up conditions we spent around 4 hours mostly standing around waiting to shoot the next 80 yard shot. Maybe it was my expectations but I went there with the thought of getting in some realistic hunting shot practice and that’s not what it was for me. I will admit that I am old school and consider bow hunting to be a short range activity and not to see who can “stick” one at 100 plus yards. Anyway, that’s my 2 cents for what it’s worth

Bring your bug spray! The mosquitos can be brutal, especially later in the day if you are still shooting!

Traffic sucks camping sucks mosquitos suck worse literally.   But one of the coolest shoots all year. Where else can you ride the chair lift with your bow. Lot's of people but still fun. Bring lot's of arrows  practice, practice practice than only bring 6. :dunno: :chuckle: :chuckle: Full draw film tour under the stars and mosquitos.   Not sure didn't go last year but heard that if your not shooting competition you don't have to shoot at the stakes if it's safe to do so some shot's you can't.  This is where the Black gold 5-pin slider really pays off. 5 set pins for hunting 20-60. Slider for exact yards and out to 120 if needed not that i will ever shoot an animal that far not at levi's level  :yike: but fun to shoot 100 and makes the 20 yard shots a chip shot.   I will be going this year :IBCOOL: :hello:  Will also be going to cedar river this weekend for the bownanza another fun shoot.
}---->$  Always on the money with the Mathews DLD/V3X
