Brewster
« on: June 25, 2024, 10:23:24 AM »
Anyone going to hit the Brewster madness this year?  I'll be there on the 13th for sure.  Hoping to go a couple more times as well.  Last I heard 290,000 over the dams so far.  I also heard instead of the normal 2 to 4 pound sockeye, they are seeing the average at 3 to 5 pounds.  Should be a lot of fish!!!

Every year!

Awesome, this will be my first trip, so I'll be in one of the guide boats out of Idaho, Fins and Feathers.

Chelan falls to Brewster for most weekends in July.

King fishing and usually incidental sockeye limit. Curious to see how they react this year.

I would like to go do it this year.  Got lots of free time after the 6th.  I did it once maybe six or seven years ago and we caught a few.

Anyone have any advice for me if I was to get over there?  Any recommended places to camp nearby?  Favorite lures?  Bought some Millenial Coon Shrimp today so have to go now!

Thanks for any advice you can provide.

I stay away from there, always slaughter the fish downriver and far less crowded. Plus Id rather catch kings

Going there with a guide on the 20th. He said last weekend he caught 38 sockeye. Do I get a special tee shirt that says I survived the Brewster Pool?

I’ve put in one day in Brewster so far. Fishing is already great and should only get better.

Heading there on the 20th with a veterans group. Should be a good time as long as I bring plenty of ice

Four sockeye at the moment, release all other salmon. (Specific to the Brewster Pool)
