Here is a pic after the hide is on. He still needs to do some tune ups and touch ups

Thats my last years archery Antelope in the back ground he is doing at the same time. He is actually doing my dads buck, my first solid buck ( another remount ) and last years Antelope. It will be fun picking up all 3 in a couple of weeks

The mountains are calling and I must go

Swore I recognized that buck from somewhere. Definitely due for a new cape  He looks absolutely spectacular.

It is. His first volume of idaho's greatest mule deer. Absolutely insane how much work went into those books.

Family heirlooms like that don't get much better IMO. I know you've posted that buck on here before. I seem to remember you saying central Idaho and maybe even more specific like north of Ketchum or east of Stanley stands out in my mind. Hope theirs still some more like that out there!

You know Doublelunger, thats exactly what it is.

I have posted it before. He killed it up the Big Wood river. A drainage called the East Fork of the North Fork. Still great buck country. We all dream of getting on a buck like this but they are few and far between on public now days but guys still turn them up
