Broke down on the side of the road
« on: July 25, 2024, 08:08:39 PM »
Blew a bearing coming over the pass and boat trailer never made a sound. Stuck in Pateros now, unfortunately the axle is shot at this point.

Anyone know a place in this area that can fix a boat trailer axle?

Thanks

Is a small trailer axle? If so the farm stores usually carry axles for them. Not hard to change out.

Check Brewster car care just up the road.
Acres of cars/ trucks etc...they may have an axle laying around.

Thanks all. Hope to get it sorted tomorrow but might end up looking at a tow.

If it were me, I'd call the OK Tire Factory in Okanogan first. Depending on the axle, they could possibly get it done today. They open at 8, but you might get em on the phone shortly before. Pretty thin on automotive services in the south valley these days.
