2024 Quality cow elk tag.
Very tough hunt,no snow, lots of people recreation going on.
Made the hunt a little ruff. Got it done second to last day.
Finding elk was easy, very hard to find one on public.
Learned a lot about elk hunting.
Only elk I have ever harvested.
Only animal I quartered,so definitely learning.
First permit filled, quality deer, spring bear I failed.

Thanks guys
I know it's a smaller one.
But I was proud I finally filled a permit in my lifetime.

Forgot to post but shot September Friday the 13th. First elk and packed out solo. Learned how to hunt 5 years ago and has become my obsession. I’ll probably never take a bigger bull and I can’t feel more blessed.Scored 291 after subtracting and 305 before
