The constitutional right to bear arms in public for self-defense is not “a second-class right", subject to an entirely different body of rules than the other Bill of Rights guarantees

But that’s how it’s being treated

Can you imagine needing a permit to exercise your right to free speech ?

Good points here...  Unfortunately, I don't think anything will be done to defeat this in WA.

I believe this bill will also require a firearm safety certification in order to get/keep your CPL.

I'd  like to thank all the skirt wearing, low T beta males who voted for the Nazi party.

Nice job!
If I need a permit and education to buy a firearm than women should need a permit and education  before getting an abortion.

Voting for Democrats is prima facie evidence you are a skirt wearing, low T, beta male. Do better.

The state is going bankrupt YET the D's only know one thing, pass bills that will cost millions/billions(they don't have)to implement!!!

Oh ya, and use wrong data to pass Anti-2A bills to boot!  And WE have to follow other states, NOT lead!!

The WSP figures on needing an extra 12.7 million for the background check and will go up to 20 million in a couple of years.  Being a "state agency" you can figure this is one the LOW end, most likely double when its done!

Ya can't fix stupid!

That $12.7M won’t come out of their budget. It will be passed on to the consumer via the fee to get the permit.  They will just keep jacking up the fee until nobody can afford it.

I heard on the news tonight they spent so much time trying to take guns from law abiding citizens that they didn’t have enough time to pass a bill to protect youth referees from assaults at sporting events. Glad to see they have the safety of our youth in their best interests.

I heard something on the radio, but couldn't listen to the whole story.....

Does one of these ills include a provision that makes it illegal to even POSSESS magazines over 10 round capacity?
I thought I heard it included a mandatory buy back?

I sure hope I misunderstood.

Unconstitutional but Nazi/Marxist scum don't care.

I remember the leftist dummies on this site 5 years ago saying they weren't coming for your guns.

Not hearing much from them now?

Funny how the "left" in this country called Trump and his supporters, Nazi's.  YET they can't see who is "acting" just like Nazi's, they themselves!  Their main premise for gun control is "safety" SAME as what Hitler and his goons did!!

History repeating itself in Olympia.  And people wonder why our country is on the bottom of the list of "educated" society's!!
