Finally found my first blacktail sheds. First find was a nice fork set. Found a cool 3 point the next weekend. Have only found one fresh brown two point shed so far, but in two times out in the same area I’ve come up with 7 sheds total.

Awesome, what elevation you working around? Not trying to ask to much, just saw the snow in the pic so I assumed it was higher elevation.

All were found between 800’-900’. It was right after that lowland snow. I went out yesterday to the same area and couldn’t turn up a single shed. I spent half the day trying to find the match to the 3-point but no luck. Lot harder to see them with no snow. Or I just already found the “easy” ones in that area.

On Thursday I had a two point mule deer still packing his passenger side.

The WT I've had on winter cams ,lost antlers by February.
That buck pic I posted in ,did your big buck survive the season.
I looked all over for a hour or so,no luck.

Saw 8 or 10 bucks packing 1 or both sides last Thursday on a hike. But I would say the majority are all dropped.

My brother has found 3 nice ones on his place so far. One set that's a decent 3 point!

This unit is notorious for weak thirds. Not this one. Cool G1 & G2. Give him 2 or 3 more years
did you have a good hike by yourself? It’ll probably be your last.

Nice one. No secrets disclosed here. I have seen quite a few trucks parked at local spots the last few weekends so I’m sure he wasn’t out there alone.

Posted in the 2024 thread by accident yesterday - don't want to relive that year so better post here!

Put a few miles in trying to break in the new boots and found a few.  Nothing big but its a start.
