Lot easier to get private land permisson as the season wears on.  Lots of locals have fiends and family.hunting the opening.weekend but don't care after they've gone. Plenty of birds, they won't all get shot the first weekend.

Good seafood can be great trades for land access
We don’t get fresh seafood often in the inland

WDFW has four types of private land access programs with poperties listed all over the state. I know some of these properties have good hunting opportunities. You can look them up here: https://privatelands.wdfw.wa.gov/private_lands/
