Nice, shoulder surgery stopped my spring bear attempts, I’ll have to figure out Idaho for next year, should have 4 points for Oregon as well.  Have fun!!

As suspected with the poor seed numbers, not selected for us.  Should be a lock next year provided we still have the hunt!

Well, guess I’ll be in Oregon in the spring.  Son in law was supposed to put in for points only but managed to draw an Imnaha tag.  Never been in that unit but it looks like our wenaha, can’t wait.

I went all in for my daughter as her last year for youth. Had a small chance but went all in for Walla Walla. No dice.  She can draw any other tag next year as an adult.

As expected, no draw with one point.

Trophy, I've spring hunted the Imnaha 2x. If you have Q's let me know.

Our group hunts that unit. We've killed a lot of bears in there. Most of the good bear country is accessed from the road systems on top and snow really makes it hard to get around early in the season. Private on the bottom makes getting to public land hard. There's definitely county to hunt early but you have to work a little harder. We killed 5 last year. I got lucky and drew again this year.
Good luck!

Looks like a big group jumped in with a lot of point in our unit.  Everyone with 7 or more points did get the tag again, but only 1 out 7 with 6 got it.

the filterable results are up if anyone is interested.

Had thought of putting him in as a youth, and it appears no non-resident youth were given a tag.  4-6 points for Residents, there was only one other non-resident youth that applied with 6 points and again, not a tag given, seems odd.

I pulled a Snake River tag, with 2 points- was planning on Idaho if I didn’t draw anything.

Question, I believe Oregon has a mandatory check for harvested bears, you non local hunters that have killed bear down there, did you bother with checking your bear?  They are only open MON-FRI bankers hours, seems like a big pain if you kill a bear on a fri evening and need to be back to work on Monday????  I'd have no problem sending a tooth in but not waiting around all weekend for them to open at 9 on monday.
