spend a little extra and get a $100 cam to watch the cam. Mount it high out of direct view. You would be suprised how good it works.

Do it a lot cheaper than that. Lotta good cams out there for $35-$40

I got a pile of cams that are out of service/not being used.
Due to the new baiting law. I'm not to concerned about catching anyone. Only thing that would make me happy is to catch them at the site,in person. Posting pics on social media may hurt some feelings. Not gonna stop them from others cameras.
Definitely not a special spot, does it hold deer at different times of the year. YES it does. It would be a killer archery spot.
Seems my best pics at that location are always in September.
October, pics fall off a cliff, mostly night pics, some bucks avoid the camera. But still remain in the area in October.

This time last year ,I dropped a whole 50lb salt block.
Loose salt at camera checks.
Deer/elk/moose ate a whole salt block in 9-10 months.
Or they stole the block too.
Not sure ,just a red spot on the ground where the block was.

Lock box is removed. All is well , nothing left behind.
