!!!HELP!!! McNary wildlife refuge duck hunting
« on: November 05, 2025, 12:36:50 PM »
Has anyone with or without lottery picks hunted at mcnary? Any information on whether or not they are open would be massively appreciated. I have a pick this weekend and am not sure if people are still hunting even during the federal shutdown.

I'm not sure how helpful this is, but this thread has a pic with some signs on the door suggesting access?maybe?

They sent and email out at the start of the season saying they are still operating the hunts as normal. I haven't had a lottery pick yet this season, but everything I have seen and heard it's business as normal.

509-546-8300 Tape says on furlough and leave message. But I don’t live there either.

https://www.fws.gov/mcriver

I also just called 509-546-8325.  Tape talks about hunting hours and if any questions call 509-546-8300. Not good info at all for hunters that have to drive hundreds of miles round trip.
