Huck 121 Youth Elk
« on: November 13, 2025, 01:54:01 PM »
Hey everyone. My brother drew a youth cow tag 121 Dec 16-31st. Anyone hunt around and 121 this year and have any leads where I can find a cow for a 14 year old?
Thanks!

Don't really have any locations to give.
I'll give my best advice.
Pray for snow, pray for tracks and some kind of elk sign on public land.
I had a similar permit last year for the same hunt dates.
Had lots of non-hunting recreational activity, that would spook the elk off of public constantly.
Only one decent snow storm during that period for me last year.
Elk traditionaly herd up as December starts, work there way into the valleys on private.
Knocking on some doors with a 14 year old may work ,never know.

Good luck 🤞 👍
