Smokey Point. Guys. Big Blacktail Spotted!!!
« on: July 02, 2009, 09:24:13 PM »
Headed down to Puyallup to work for the day and saw a Whopper of a blacktail a couple of hundred yards North of the Stimson Rd. overpass on the west side of I-5.  He was feeding in the underbrush.  When he lifted his head I about went off the road.  He was a real toad.  Wide, Heavy and Tall.  Maybe some of you locals cen keep an eye out for him!!!

So you must be talking about the west side of the freeway. Thats not rez land if its north of 140th. I havent seen that guy yet. If I see him I'll get a pic.

He was definately on the west side of I-5.  I always wondered how far north the rez. land went.  Didn't think it went that far.

Very cool!  I guess I'll know what happened if I hear about someone running off the road in Arlington on I-5

Ever since old Mortons Tree farm turned into the strip mall eye sore over there (were Red Robin, etc are in smokey joint), no wonder the deer are out in the open, looking for a place to live.

If your headed north on I-5, between the Stilly river bridge and exit 210, there have been some nice deer feeding along there.  :)
