Hey, I'm a lurker coming out of the closet. Sorry to hijack but the picture of the last bull made me do it. I drew the Teanaway any bull muzzleloader tag 2 years ago and I'm 90% sure that is the bull M_Ray and I chased for 8 days. That was the last time it was a rut hunt. I had him broadside at 150 yds and passed! Too far for my confidence. Any way good luck on the deer, there are some nice ones in there. Maybe some day I'll post about that hunt it was crazy.

Hopefully those boys didn't get snowed in, I hear in Cle Elum they got close to 2 feet of new snow over night.  I remember the one guys asking about towing a 30 ft trailer and camping at 29 pines, he may be stuck.

We got about 14 inches at my place near Eburg.  Had a Christmas party today and a good friend from out at Lauderdale where  HWY97 and 970 meet tell me that they got 26 inches of snow that started at around 8pm Saturday night.  You can bet that anyone up the Teanaway was dealing with getting out.
If you think you can or think you can't, you're right.

We were up Weilh road yesterday all day and got out of there just in time.  We were in in the morning and then went back in in the afternoon, and didn't get back to our rigs till after dark.  Couldn't see our going in track, when we were coming back out.  Coming back over Snoqualmie Pass was fun, but Tiger Mtn, on Hwy 18 was pretty scary actually.  Hell it was almost a friggin whiteout in Maple Valley, but raining 2 miles down the road in Covington.

My buddy is a Master Hunter and has another anterless elk tag that we were trying to fill, (I was cougar hunting, since he shot one of those last weekend), and all we saw was deer.

That weihl road is good when the elk are in there, it seems to me either they are there or they aren't, but when they are they're all over the place.  Did your buddy shoot that cat up off the weihl road?

Buddy of mine who lives near town says there is no way he could get that 30' trailer back in there.  Too much snow at the end of last week and ifin he did get in there, he's stuck now or had to dig his way out.  Pretty deep from what he's saying.  Hope wastickslinger got his buck!

i came over blewett about 6 this morning. i have a feeling some folks might be a little late comin' home if they were very far up in the teanaway. it was pretty nasty, but begining to turn to rain. i bet its POURING rain up there now. roads will be s h i t t y comin outa there to say the least, with as much snow as they got, now with mass rain on top of it there could be some real problems. i can't imagine the hunting up there  being anything more than a total bust. there is way too much snow and wind and now rain for the animals to be out moving, or let alone the hunters for that matter. oh, and good luck to the trailer guy...  :o

Goose egg. Sorry guys, i just couldnt find the big one. Oh well I had fun and saw lots of critters and I cant say I didnt have opportunities. From the sounds of it, most of the tag holders had issues. I could have killed a cow on Saturday if I wouldnt have had a stupid west side tag this year.

Sorry you came up empty there. Is there any chance you could email me that picture of the 6x7 in the field? or do you have any others of him? I would appreciate that. Thanks

hey at least you had fun, and knew what you wanted, and stuck to your goal. Congrats on having a fun hunt, and getting to see all those animals.
