Did not have a Pic for walking up on him, didn't have my camera, drug him out of the reprod first.  But my biggest Blacktail to date.  Also noticed alot of fat on him, rolls and tons in his guts.

My wife shot this buck on Sunday, She hit it good but is walked about 30 yds with its head down. Walked over to this old growth red-rot and laid down. After about 2 minutes it put its head down and was dead. Funny place for a deer to bed down :chuckle: :dunno:

Thats a nice buck!! Just wondering if you shoot expadanble broadheads. Your arrows do not penetrate real far.
125 thunderheads I think 2216 aluminum at the time not sure but probably 65-70lbs.   that was my golden eagle woodlimb bow that broke at full draw on a bull the next year lol.  The first was a long shot and it hit the shoulder just happened to look up the hill I was going up and he was there walking at an angle away from me.  The second was after we found it pined on the ground inbetween on a very steep hill and some small firs.  I shot it in the neck because that was the only angle I could get it went through and stuck in a stump under the buck.  Broke the blades on the broadhead digging it out  :bash:.  The buck kept looking up at me but it couldn't get up so i figured the neck would do the trick.  Killed several deer with neck shots.  Near Naselle is where it was taken.

Its a combination of the wood limb bow and the arrows. My dads bow does the same thing. but he still gets his deer.

My daughter's doe.  Can you find it?  We watched it kick and roll down and she could keep going so my drag was shorter.  It is below the top 1/3 of the tree. (as in tree top)
