Selkirk moose 09
« on: November 19, 2009, 11:12:47 PM »
Well after hunting 27 total days I finally got a bull it was a fun hunt I would do a lot of things different if I ever I got drawn again we passed 15+ bulls and saw a couple big ones but I’m happy, shot this guy yesterday he’s around 40 inches wide, he has some broken off points but it was getting late in the season and I was starting to sweat if I was going to get a good one at all so I pulled the trigger

Nice bull!  I'd be plenty happy with him.  They are starting to drop antlers so it's good you sealed the deal.

dude...you got a goat tag and a moose tag in the same year and you're how old and had how many points?
congrats on an incredible feat of luck(getting the tags, not the harvest).
might as well buy a couple lotto tickets....

Nice Bull
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.
