Poll: Which spotting scope size do you use or prefer?
« on: November 25, 2009, 08:23:03 PM »
A lot of members contacted me for premium spotting scopes, so I figure I should start with what our members want first. Thanks for participating.

That's a loaded question. I like an 80mm for better light, and more clarity, especially in low light conditions, but they are a little bulky sometimes. A smaller spotter is nice for packing, but you give up clarity at higher magnification and are less useful in low light.

So this poll is brand specific, maybe you should title it

"Which ZenRay spotting scope size do you use or prefer?"

actually, the target of this poll is for everyone who has used or owned spotting scopes. So any brand/model will be fine.  We just want to learn and provide a better product by conducting this little experiment. Thanks

I didn't know that the Zen spotters were available yet.

Only reason I said that is there are way more options than the two you posted, hard to vote for whats not there. :dunno:

We do have a budget line of SEDONA 20-60x80 spotting scope.

But that's not the reason of this poll here. ;)

maybe just reply with the model and size you are using. I was trying to use the phrase ".. or similar" to capture everything. That might be difficult with different variation in sizes and powers (especially if you use fix power spotting scope).

Edit: Just edit the poll options
