" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

Wow, very cool buck.  Looks like Doyle's team has done it again.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.
You are never to old to learn something stupid.

I'm not impressed when it takes a "team" of guys to assist in the kill. Nice buck but I'd rather see a DIY hunter with it. But, if he paid $250,000 for it to the state of Utah, then that's great for them.

i feel the same way. felt the same way about the spider bull. read the story on that. the guy wasnt even in the state the whole time. he would fly back and forth (probably on  a private jet) when the bull was spottede by guys following him. he just flew in and shot it

As stated before ... It's alot easier to find the freaks in other states like Utah than here in WA. I have never been impressed with the Mossback brand of terrorizing the Deer and Elk until the shooter with the most money arrives, but hey it's not illeagal at this point and they have found a loop hole to work to their advantage so good for them and the state of Utah. I would probably think better of it if they didn't intimidate the public land hunter joe out of an area just cause they found an animal.

Nice buck BTW!

did not know about their tactics if they are treating public land like their own fiefdom That  SUCKS!  If you pay 1/4 mil. to the Governor serf law does not apply.  :bash:

Let's just say it's pretty well known and documented how aggressive his guys get over an area when they have a animal surounded!!! They will block all access with trucks & tell people to scram this is private property!!! He employs his guys to keep a 24-7 eye on the critter until the hunter arrives ... IMO they are pretty much dirt bags ... but they take the largest animals and cater to the men with the money to pay for it so it's gonna happen as long as it's leagal!!! It's what happend to the Wa Gov tag last year only on a bit smaller scale than the Mossback boys do it!

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
