Our group of 5 ended up like this, 352,504,1017,1060, and 1433!! Quite the spread.  I'm the lucky 504 guy, so I'm hopin Bryce and I end up with tags, don't know bout the other 3.....

Judd, you use up all your tag luck in Montana.  That's why you never draw a permit in WA. :chuckle:

Anybody know how to check on your contact information, I don't remember setting that stuff up.  So I don't know how they get my contact information.  I know they have my mailing address, got the refund check :dunno:

Hard to believe that with only a couple thousand tags issued, 300+ would be given back and re-issued to people on the Alt. list?!?  I'm curious to hear from people that were on it last year and received tags and as to what position they were in..   If there are un-sold outfitter tags I believe they issue those to people on the list as well.  I accidentally deleted the email from MFWP that had the exact numbers from last year but I want to say it was like 160 +/-.

I'm lucky enough to have family there and do Landowner sponsor and was drawn but the other 3 in my party were not.  They are currently in positions 6, 13, and 36 for the Landowner Deer tag.  MFWP told me only 12 Landowner Deer Tags were issued to Alt. last year.  So we're hoping 2 more in my group get tags this year.

Good Luck to everyone!!

Im on the Big Game Combo List. Does anybody know how far up the list they usually get. Im not holding out much hope for Myself at 800 or my Uncle at 900, but my Dad is in the 300's. Its my first time on the list and was just wondering.

I put this on another thread but just in case people didn't see it...  Here are the exact numbers from last year per the MFWP.  I;m trying to get the information as to how many Outfitter tags went un-purchased and were issued to people on the Alt. list so we all have a really good idea where we all stand.  I understand year to year it changes but I'm sure this year will be close to the same.

Hi Rich-

The total number of applicants that applied last year on the alternate list is as follows:

Big Game Combo: 1461/ we reissued 477

Deer Combo: 1317/ we reissued 134

Elk Combo: 218/ we reissued 42

Landowner Deer Combo: 189/ we reissued 30

If the outfitter sponsored licenses are not all sold by September 1st; they will convert to general licenses and be issued through the alternate list. If you have additional questions please feel free to contact me.

Have a great day!

Thank you,

When do the drawing of the alternates list and notify you if you were drawn or not?

The drawing already happened on 5/17 to determine the order.  As the licenses come available, they notify people.
