Its pretty cool that half of those road signs are ELK CROSSING or MULEDEER (not the scrawny whitetail ones this state has) crossing signs.

Lots of 2-legged deer in Vegas; good luck with your hunt!

Good luck bone.  That hunt is pretty much the entire month of november if I remember right.

Are you taking Idabooner with you?

THat hasn't been discussed though there is a pretty good chance it could happen.  He is awefully fond of his slobbering snoreing dog  that I am dreadfully allergic too and  I'm not sure there is room in the truck for both of us.  My luck Jack would get the walltent and stove and I'd ahve to sleep under a tree.   :)  I need to figure out a lot of logistics first.  Now that I have one good tag, I should draw another one.  I'm hopeing NM sheep, or Montana goat.

Yeah, cause sleeping under a tree is a real inconvenience for you......... ;)
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.
You are never to old to learn something stupid.

:chuckle:  Guess that kind of is my personality.   THANKS everyone.  I'm still shocked.   The hunt is 20 days.  Last year had 13 non res tags with 0% success rate.  I guess they saw a pile of deer....not sure what happened there. :yike:

My buddy hunted the Ruby's last year on a guided hunt.  He and his dad both shot decent bucks.  Hunted Pasayten high buck with him a few years earlier- he said the ruby's were much less rugged, and the terrain was fairly open... trying to find the picks... will post if I can find them...

Thats awesome stuff right there.  THANKS Dansk!    I assume I'll be in the lower country that time of year I am hoping that the high country gets hammered and funnels all those babies right into my lap.   I'm going to have lots of back up plans though.  Considering I don't hardly have a clue at this point.   Thanks again for those pics.  Salivating!!!  Nice buck too.
