That was obvious to me by the bullet hole. That bullet would have just bounced off one of the 3 almighty bulls left in the Blues. The damage that the howitzer you hit him with did makes it obviously a Colockum bull all day long.

Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

One thing I forgot to add. If anyone ever gets drawn for this tag feel free to drop me a line. Now a days thes tags are once in a lifetime and any info helps.. I  may not of harvested a world record but i saw some that could of possibly been. The big guys are big for a reason.  I learned alot  about  myself and what it takes to harvest the big boys. When I get drawn as long as I am not 80 they better watch out.

Awww Ross... was that to lure me out of hiding? :chuckle:

Actually, I have been out of the net, just got back from Montana, but JimKD8 told me the story right after it happened, I just haven't been able to get to a computer to check out the pics til today.
WHat a great story.  Isn't that why we hunt?  It's all about the hunt, the experience, the wild places, and the chance of what could (or couldn't) happen.  Way to stick with it!.  Aint it great havin' buddies....?

Waiting for Pictures Jim.  It was so cold my camera wouldn't work.  I am waiting for my buddy to email me pics.  I'll do a thread then.  He promised he'd send them tonight.  If it helps any to cut the suspense... I didn't eat the tag... ;)

Well watching all the excitement with the draw being talked about. I chose not to keep seeing if the results were up or not til I knew they were. Well I was lucky enough to draw a quality bull tag with my buddy. I cant wait til fall.
