never was able to weight them alive,350 no guts for mine..

mine was 310 cleaned out 6 hours after I shot it.  will not shoot one in that hole again :bdid:

Never weighed a bear I've killed.  We just measured them in MT, killed a couple here as well.  Biggest I've killed was 6'9" nose to tail.

No kidding,  bears are the most awkward animals to move. What really gets me is an outfitter that has all pics of whole bears at the lodge. Sorry but we have killed a ton of bears up here, u just. Don't move a 250lb bear out whole. Fishy fishy stuff

the head and the meat is usually all that comes back with me, but my best is 5'8'' nose to tail which aint much

Not sure the weight but he was pretty much right at 7ft.
He sure did have a ton of fat for a spring bear, probably 5 inches thick in spots.

what do you guys think a weight could be?
