The Fish and Game Biologist in St John says 2 sets of wolf tracks were recorded by Revere south of Rock Lake and he measured them. Says they are wolf tracks! Might be the two people reported seeing around Turnbull!

There should be three, red, grey and almost black. They have been seen all over the area chasing the elk....you now know why there are more elk in st john than ever....they were pushed there by the wolves from idaho.

I received a text from a good friend late last night informing me of a confirmed by bio elk wolf kill on his buddies land just two miles outside the Wenatchee city limits. I thought those wolves caught on trail cams a month ago "were just passing through"?

My wife is a bus driver for one of the school districts here in Spokane. She called me this morning saying that one of the other drivers spotted two wolves (1 black& 1 greyish-brown) in the cattle fields just northwest of Mica Peak.

˝ hour after sun up I seen a bunch of deer running south across Bernard’s field across the river from Carlton. (Alto Unit) Bino’ed the hill for about 3 minuets, not one deer on the ridge. Then all of a sudden a wolf was standing on a high spot in the middle of the field, it had to have run to there, it stood looking which way did  the deer go, there’s two ways and they had lost sight, soon another wolf come to the high spot, they milled around then went back and up into the timber, I didn’t see them again. They were light colored like the original pack.

Wolf number 18 was in my friends yard last winter.

The owner of the Bonaparte Resort saw 4 wolves after hunting season on the westside of the lake.

One lone wolf was seen by a friends wife last winter on Franson Peak near Curlew.

Postmasters neighbor near Marias Creek had one in his yard last winter. They reported it to the bio in Colville and was told it was a Smackout Pass wolf and was in Canada when they reported it.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

I don't have any proof but a Clark County Deputy I know reports seeing a lone black wolf with a radio collar on the south side of Mt. Saint Helens.  Also heard of people seeing sign as close as the Yacolt Burn Area in the snow last year.

One black wolf spotted May 22 near Smackout Pass, GMU 111, sat on his haunches and looked at us for several minutes. Photo is blurry due to snow storm, but I watched him with 15x Sawarovskis for several minutes and 100% certain it was a black wolf.

Wolf sightings are nearly a daily occurrence now in the northeast. I have heard of a dozen sightings in the last week. One hunter who was out scouting the last days of May saw a bunch of wolf tracks up near Deep lake in GMU 111. He had trail cams with him so he hung one on a tree beside the road. The first wolf photo was taken 2 hours after placing the camera, in the next few days there were photos of at least 5 different wolves.

Two adult wolves, a large black wolf and a medium sized reddish/gray wolf spotted together at 80 yards on South Fork Mill Creek Road only about 1/4 mile east of Kagel Creek, in GMU 111, we are sure that neither wolf had a radio collar, I doubt WDFW knows that these wolves exist.

I've got plans to hang a cam a bit northeast of Deep Lake over 4th of July weekend.
