Bear down in Kitsap
« on: August 04, 2011, 02:38:41 AM »
Got her with less then 2 minutes of legal light, she's no monster but she's way bigger then the 2 year old I shot last year (it was my first one).
I would call it a perfect heart shot.
We could say [Democrats] spend money like drunken Sailors, but that would be unfair to drunken Sailors. It would be unfair, because the Sailors are spending their own money.

Awesome, congratulations.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.

After calling for a little over an hour we could hear at least three different bears below and to our left but they held up about the time the darn thermo cline started pushing our sent down hill.  After we couldn't get the grunts to come any closer we decided to call it a day.  Well last minute thinking I said, "lets walk to the other side of that little thicket and glass before we get out of here".  We came around the corner of the little thicket and there she was 40 yards away digging,  a 180 grain Accubond out of my 300 win knocked her down about 4 feet from where I shot her.  It was the quickest I've ever seen a big game animal die in person.
We could say [Democrats] spend money like drunken Sailors, but that would be unfair to drunken Sailors. It would be unfair, because the Sailors are spending their own money.
