Story...
I went down to the Lewis unit for three days. It was hotter then I could bone out an elk and get it out of there before it would spoil.  So I packed up and went back home.  I hunted local to my house so that I could get the elk out before it would spoil.

I hit some of my places and found three bulls.   I snuck in at 3:30 AM and crawled in to the grass to were they were feeding.  Some other hunters came in at about 6:15 AM and started bugling and the herd started to move right at me.  They did not know I was there.  The bull put his nose up a few ladies tails and they ran by me then the bull walked by a 20 yards.   I never called once and I used the other hunter's call to push the elk to me.

But they were kind of calling with questionable wind direction.
