Ok, I'm going to come clean.  I had reported my measurement of 361 and change gross for the bull I got this year and as it turns out I made a critical error by measuring the last points on each side (in addition to the beam length).  So, my 361 bull is actually more like a 350 bull.  In my defense I said I didn't know if I measured correctly, and...uh, apparently I was right about that. ;)

Really theres quiet a few 300 plus bulls killed every year , we see alot of them because our members work hard and are dialed into the hunting seen. I've killed bulls over 300 and none are in the books . I'm sure that most guys stretch there tape abit or use a steel tape so if they ad ten or fiffteen inches to a 330 bull he's still a nice animal . when I See a bull thats right at three hundred and the guy figures he's shot a giant , I know he's on cloud nine and why burst his bubble. the ones that kinda bug me are the long arm shots we see where the gun looks like a bazooka , just keep it real and enjoy each bull for what it is . I think a lot of guys tear up a animal because there jellous .

i am not bashing anybody on any animal i have always congratulated them on killing and animal i am not jealous one bit i think its great i guess a few people have blown this whole post way out of proportion all i am saying is if you embellish don't do it by thirty or forty inches

Not everyone sees a need to have an animal entered in a book.  I know a few people who have taken book animals and have no desire to even have them measured.  The fact is that there are far MORE good/successful hunters in this state that don't even know about this site....and quite a few people on this site who spend so much time posting that they can't possibly spend as much time in the woods as they would lead you to believe. 

Just for fun here is a 300+/-" Rosie from this year that won't be entered......just look how big it is compared to the proud hunter.
