Try clicking on "mark all messages as read." It's down in the bottom, right side.

Problem is, you have to click it 100's of times cuz it only marks a few of them at a time as read.  But it is a solution, just takes a while if you have several thousand posts. :twocents:

During the upgrades the last few days we had to run a tool to convert files for the new database engine that was installed and I suspect that while running this tool the table that records new posts was accidentally deleted. We had to rebuild that table and it is now working but all previous records of which topics had new posts was lost which is why it appears there are new posts in every topic members have posted.

My suggestion is to do as bobcat suggested for the first 1 or 2 pages of records and then don't worry about the rest.

 :chuckle: :chuckle: good one Austrian....

I just cleared out numerous pages by clicking the button "Mark ALL messages as read".
It only takes about 2 or 3 seconds per page.

It seems a few days ago I stopped receiving email notifications of replies to threads, although Notifications remain activated. I think PM notifications continue to work. Am I the only one? Just making sure I didn't miss something. It's always possible the issue is with the mail server on my side blocking.

I have noticed the last month or so, that attaching images and links is slow, difficult or it ain't happening. Photos I've used before on this site. Tonight attaching my dog photo was iffy and finally completed. Where as before I never had issues using photobucket and this site.  :twocents:

Now that you mention it, I don't think I'm receiving notifications either. I'll check into that, THANKS.
