An example of Tribal law on selling Game

Copied and Pasted from CTUIR: Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation

Trafficking in Wildlife
No Tribal Member or other person subject to Tribal jurisdiction shall:
Sell or have in his possession with the intent to sell; Expose or offer for sale; Use as the basis for an exchange of money; or
Ship for commercial purposes any wildlife, including parts, raw or processed.
However, this provision does not apply to: Lawful off-reservation commercial fishing activities,
The possession or sale of hides of big game or furbearers lawfully taken; or The sale or bartering of subsistence
wildlife by a Tribal Member to a member of a federally recognized tribe.
A Tribal Member may exchange wildlife lawfully taken for household goods or domestic supplies.
Violation of this section is a crime.
Some people spend their entire life wondering if they made a difference. Marines don't have that problem.
He who shed blood with me shall forever be my brother.

I think a strict interpretation of FDA regs also makes selling wild meat illegal

I thought we already established that it was against Yakama law to sell meat? This is what we are hoping the fellow in Wenatchee will get busted for, correct?

has anyone called the warden and told them of this??  It could be worth letting them know?  Not to mention it might just be the warden trying to see who is willing to buy poached game??

I do not  care if he is native or not. You hunt to supply meat for yourself and family. If you have to much meat don't hunt..
If its brown knock it down

I know but the way it looked when I first put it up right after you put yours up was like I was the one that's why I modified it.

No harm intended. You're one of the good guys.  I just hate to see this happen, and I hope there are consequences for the person that placed the ad.
